Join us to in the darkroom to learn how to make your own Chemigrams.

Produced in a painterly way, chemigrams are made by applying substances to photographic paper which resist the chemical development and fixing process to create layers of highly detailed textural imagery.

You’ll learn how to create different effects, how to manipulate the paper and chemistry, and then bring it all together to make your own other-worldly prints.

Pioneered in the mid 1950’s by Peirre Cordier, Chemigrams are beautifully surreal images that have an incredible amount of natural detail.

This workshop will suit new or experienced darkroom users alike, who may not have made chemigrams before. All materials are provided, and after the workshop we're sure you’ll feel confident to make your own chemigrams at home.
