Processing your own film can be so rewarding, and here at Negative Thinking it can be fun too!

With our extensive selection of processing equipment and chemistry, you will be able to process your black and white film to your own specifications, or if you’d prefer, we can guide you toward a method best suited to your needs.

When booking your processing session, please select the option most applicable to you so that your session runs smoothly, and send us an email if you have any queries.

We have the means to process 135 (35mm), 828, 127, and 120 roll films, along with 4”x5”and 8”x10” sheet film.

We have a wide selection of developers available for you to choose from too, including Kodak D-76, Ilford Microphen, Rodinal, 510-Pyro, HC-110 and Dektol depending on stock.

Please note: We cannot process C41, E6, or ECN-2 film in our darkrooms.

If you’d like to get experimental with your processing we can help you do that too! We positively encourage the use of plant based and alternative development agents such as Caffenol, and you are very welcome to bring your own pre-made chemistry with you, or to get creative whilst you’re here!
